SO WHAT CAN GOD DO?
In canon, there's basically nothing Chuck can't do. Them's the perks!

In Little Hades, he's very limited.
→ He can't do anything that'll change Hell or the nature of the people in it.
→ Mind reading is out. This will never be a thing.
→ Active power use on others will generally misfire or explode in confetti or something. Hooray. This is generally a case by case basis, in case there's ever a time when it'd be helpful for Chuck to actually be able to put someone in time out.
→ Passive powers, like the ones that keep him from getting hurt, are also on a case by case basis. If it's funny or important for him to get hurt, it'll happen. Just let me know.

This said, in general he won't use his powers unless he's super mad. If a thread gets to that point, I'll get in contact to see what's going and where you want things to go. So no worries about that.

tldr; Chuck's powers won't work most of the time, contact me if we're in a situation where Chuck will/may use his powers and we'll figure out what works

SO WHAT DO YOU WANT HERE?

One passive power that might be cool for cr purposes is Chuck's awareness of people and their history. In the show it seems to be situationally used by Chuck as a way to make connections with people or reach out to them. That's how I'd like to use it in Little Hades, as a situational tool for building CR.

If you are interested then feel free to let me know just how much you'd like Chuck to be aware of.

1. JON SNOW: Chuck knows nothing. What a shame. This is my default assumption. If someone hasn't said something, Chuck's as ignorant about a character as anyone else. I expect this to be the case for most people.

2. SEMI-NISCIENCE? Chuck knows some specific things about your character but not others. Maybe he knows old things, maybe he knows things that are public knowledge, maybe he just knows where your character worked. He doesn't know that your character killed their mother, or other big secrets that you don't want out there. Maybe he just knows one thing: that they wore pink pyjamas when they were a kid.

3. THE LORD SEES ALL: Chuck knows everything about your character. All the fun details of their lives, the name their dog had when they were a kid, where they got that scar, etcetc.

4. WAIT WHAT: The things Chuck knows are just not true. Maybe he's misread your character for their bff. Maybe he knows your character's AU life story. This will make for hilarious misunderstandings.

is there a middle ground between 2 and 3? if Chuck knows all about Josh's job etc., he'll likely just brush it off as this guy being from his world and knowing Josh as a public figure — because he was pretty public. Deputy Chief of Staff, Democrat, super liberal, obnoxious, almost got himself fired for telling a woman on live television that the God she prays to was "too busy being indicted for tax fraud." (HE MEANT THE CHURCH. SORRY BRO)

things Chuck can know that definitely weren't public:

- Josh's sister died in a house fire when he was a kid. she was babysitting him, he ran out. he's carrying boatloads of guilt over this.
- Josh's dad died suddenly while Josh was campaigning for the would-be President.
- he was (and still kind of is) in love with his assistant, Donna Moss.
- Toby Ziegler is the one who found him bleeding out after he'd been shot (because Josh doesn't remember anything about his own death and h-haha DOESN'T WANT TO. TELL HIM ANYWAY AT SOME POINT IF YOU WISH).
- his favorite piece of classical music, which pops in and out of his head at random, is "Ave Maria."
- he gave up his "in case of emergency" info card because he didn't want to be saved in the event of a catastrophe if it meant he couldn't bring his staff and friends with him.

all the small details about Josh's life don't really matter. I'm not sure how these facts will play into their CR, but I'm looking forward to it! if Josh even suspects for one second that this guy Knows Things, the first thing he'll ask is whether or not the President died the day they were both shot. (he didn't. they both survived but I killed Josh for game purposes ¯\_(ツ)_/¯)

ANYWAY THAT IS ALL THANK YOU

OH MAN......... no that would probably mess him up way too much. he's already angry enough about dying. and he feels guilty about it, of course, because guilt is his #1 emotion. he feels like in dying, he abandoned his friends, his family, and his country. :')

even though he was murdered :')

and it wasn't his fault at all :')

YEAH BUT THAT'S THE THING, he isn't even really a screwup! he's super successful and is a genuinely good guy when you get down to it, even (and especially) for a politician!

he's just super guilty and thinks everything is somehow his fault. he thinks he's a screwup. (and yet he plays it off by being obnoxious and egotistical and kinda Above It All, yeaaaahhhh defense mechanisms!)
